On January 30, 2018 hundreds of dead starlings fell from the sky simultaneously in different parts of the city of Rome. The newspapers have thus resumed the news: Rome, the strange case of the death of starlings: "Many were found dead in piazzale del Verano, Porta Pia and Via Nomentana. The 'Birds fell dead on the ground,' residents say. The civil defense that is organizing a joint inspection with the ASL and Capitol offices has been alerted. The bodies of the birds remained in the street on the sidewalk and in the middle of the roadway with the stunned passers-by forced to pass among the dead birds for reasons still unknown."
